digital data collection infrastructure establishment

digital data collection infrastructure establishment

This project will build a data collection infrastructure for Queensland Eating Disorder Service (QuEDS). The project aims to unify QuEDS' data collection for separate programs and add new data capture time points, such as at intake and assessment. The new infrastructure will be used for program evaluation and to give QuEDS staff the tools to undertake their own quality improvement projects.

As part of this project, we will create data visualisation and summarisation tools to aid clinical decision-making and allow the service to better understand the needs of their population. All tools will be co-designed with clinical staff to ensure they are efficient, user-friendly, and capture clinically meaningful data.

We are in the early phases of co-design for this project. Dr Sidari is consulting with her QuEDS colleagues to understand their usual processes and how the new system could reduce friction for data entry and review.
